Wyoming Delois (Evans) Miller

Sis. Wyoming Miller was born August 8, 1944, to the late Willie O. Finely and the late Mrs. Bonnie Lee Haygood (Evans).

She confessed her belief in Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church were she served for many years. She united in marriage and four children were born. She was later united in holy matrimony to Joe Freeman Miller, who remained at her side until her homegoing. 

She was called home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2019, at 7:30 A.M. Sister Wyoming Miller was preceded in death by her two brothers Mickey Adams and Bora Adams and a very dear Aunt Ella Frances Brownlee. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 26 years: Joe Freeman Miller; four children: Eddie Roy Vandergrift, III, Rev. Tommy (Pamela) Vandergrift, daughter and caregiver, Bernadette (Robert) McNair and Michael (Delores) Vandergrift, all of Birmingham, AL; one brother: William Lee Adams of Moody, AL; three sisters: Taryne (Daryl) Godfrey of Leeds, AL, Garnette Mack of Schenectady, NY, and Linda (Tyron) Ross of Detroit, MI; seven grandchildren: Terrence Lee, Michael Vandergrift, Jr., Tameisha Vandergrift, Joe Vandergrift, Sade McNair, Brandon Gray, MiKayla Vandergrift and Tony Myles; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend: Danielle Parker.
