Valencia Echols

Mrs. Valencia Echols was born December 19, 1974, in Birmingham, Alabama.

She attended Carver High School and was a part of the graduating Class of 1993, where she soon met Rodrick Wimberly. To their union one child was born, Lil Rod.

She was a very hard worker and always tried to do the best for her kids and others as well. 

In the quiet, early morning on November 2, 2020, God called Valencia home.

Valencia was the second born of two sisters and one preceded her in death Debra Echols. She was also preceded in death by her father Sammy Lee Echols.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband: Rodrick Wimberly, Sr.; two sons: Rodrick Wimberly, Jr. and Vadarrius Echols; mother: Debra Echols; one grandson: Rodrick "Cash" Wimberly; sisters: Totoyia Echols, Mona Echols, Ursala Echols and Deidra Echols; one daughter-in-law: Jasmine Ware; sister-in-law: Minister Michelle Coleman; special friend: Lamar Ford; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
