Rosalind Scott (Scott) Blue

Rosalind Scott Blue was the seventh of nine children. She was born February 6, 1957, to the late Pastor Frank and Daisy Scott in Birmingham, AL.  Rosalind transitioned July 9, 2019.

Rosalind accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age and was a faithful member of Lively Hope Baptist Church. She graduated from Hueytown High School in 1975 and worked in the Custodian Department for Birmingham City Schools for twenty two years where she retired.

Rosalind was full of life and met no strangers. She loved life and especially her family and friends. She had a smile that would brighten any room. She was always thinking of others and if she had it she would give her last. Rosalind will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents Pastor Frank and Daisy Scott, three sisters Laura Whitaker, Rhonda Fe Magby, and Matilda Lewis. Rosalind transitioned on July 9, 2019.

Rosalind leaves to cherish her memories: daughter Mejeria (Otis) Jones, son Anquetez Scott; two grandchildren, Frank Scott and Oriyanna Jones; one sister, Frankie (Richard) Powell of Ohio; four brothers Andrew, Tellofero, Timothy, and Ethan Scott, all of Birmingham and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
