Reginald Wayne Barnhart affectionately known as “Ting” departed from his earthly home on July 7, 2020, to be with the Lord in his heavenly home. He was born to the late James and Seebelle Barnhart on December 12, 1953, in Birmingham, Alabama. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Fairfield.
Reginald graduated from Fairfield Industrial High School and attended Lawson State Community College. He later went on and became a master carpenter. He was a fun and loving person who would help anyone. He had a great love for his family, friends and the City of Fairfield.
Reginald was preceded in death by his parents James and Seebelle Barnhart, sisters; Dorothy Brinson, Willodean (Tit) Steager, Glenda Barnhart and Gloria Barnhart. Brothers; Carlton, Albert, Cleophus, James and Alvin Barnhart. Grandson; Noah Braxton Gray.
He leaves unforgettable memories for loved ones to cherish: daughter Shereta (Jason) Gray; grandchildren, Tyree Syion Blair and Jace Tyree Gray; sisters, Alberta (Alvin) McCaskey, Teaneck, NJ, Alice (Cyril) Palmer, Bronx, NY and Seebelle Huddleston, Atlanta, GA; brothers, Charles (Beatrice)Barnhart, Englewood, NJ, Richard (Donita) Barnhart, Birmingham, AL; a nephew like a brother, James Andrea Amen; a special nephew Victor Clemon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Class of 1972, and dear friends.
