Michael DeWayne Sales, Sr.

Mr. Michael DeWayne Sales, Sr. was born to the late Albert and Margret Sales in 1962, in Syraton, Alabama.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Mount Olive Baptist Church, under the Rev. Henry Williams and continued under leadership of Rev. Ervin Wilkerson until health issues fell upon him.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Albert Sales, Jr. and William Sales and sisters, Fannie S. Brown and Julia S. Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife: Cheryl Sales; four children: Michael D. Sales, Jr., Theodore Sales, Darius Hatcher (Chasity), and Latonya Hatcher (Julius Johnson); one sister: Vicki Sales; three brothers: Alfred (Lisa) Sales, Rev. Tyrone (Audrey) Sales and Benjamin Sales; one aunt: Mrs. Annie Sales Ward, all of Birmingham, Alabama; four grandchildren: Tadarrius Hatcher, Zaveairah Bevelle, Ladarrius Sales and Jewell Johnson, all of Birmingham, Alabama; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
