Marguerite (Young) Kemp

Marguerite Young Kemp was born on December 19, 1938, to the late Willie Clarence, Sr. and Lydia Moore Young.

Marguerite confessed her faith in Christ and placed membership at Collegeville Church of Christ, under the leadership of Bro. Chris Dillian.

Marguerite was educated in the Birmingham City School system. She attended Hudson Elementary and A.H. Parker High School.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sister Willie C. Young, Jr., Christerfield Young, Kenneth Young and Bertha Hegler.

Marguerite peacefully shifted into eternal rest on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at 2:52 a.m. Her grandson, Taurus T. Frost, Sr. preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Loretta Diallo and Barbara Frost; five sons, Michael Kemp, Anthony (Luvenia) Taylor, Eric Taylor, Marcus (LaToya) Taylor, and Demetrius Kemp; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren; a special niece, Jacqueline Byers; nephew, Gerald Hegler; God-granddaughter: Donna McDaniel; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
