Lovenia "LuLu" Large 54, passed away peacefully at her home after a short illness on January 23, 2020. She was born July 3, 1965, to the late Oscar Pritchett and Dillie Pritchett. She was an 1983 graduate of Banks High School, and a 2004 graduate of Delgado Community College, where she received her degree in accounting. She also studied at LeTourneau University in 2010. She was an independent Mary Kay consultant, an independent insurance agent for United Healthcare, and a founder/owner of Scent-U-Know Fragrances.
On June 30, 2007, she married Joseph Large and let everyone know that she was the only Lady Large. She was an active member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a faithful choir member, an assistant superintendent of Sunday School, a Sunday School teacher, and a director of the church outreach "Love Ministries". Her sister Margaret Garrett and father Oscar Pritchett proceeded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband, Joseph Large; mother: Dillie Pritchett; mother-in-law: Lucille Large; sister: Debra Thomas (Jerome); brother: Oscar Wayne Pritchett; stepchildren: Brandon Gray, Amber Colemen (Andrew), Chris Large, Faith Large; grandchildren: Khari, Cameron, Courtney and Brandon Gray, Zyion Slaughter and Kysir Wiggins; brothers-in-law: Jimmy (Rosalyn) of Gadsden, AL, James, Gary (Sheila) of Atlanta, GA, Calvin (Denise), Douglas (Dorothy); sisters-in-law: Betty Griffin, Vivian Hall, Benita Goudy, Valeria Ferguson, Gloria Davis; nieces: Tori (David), Kenya, Tonya, Ellise, April, Ashley; nephews: Brandon and Damien; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
