Johnny E. Lambert was born to Essie Coleman and the late Eddie Reed in Birmingham, Alabama on December 2nd, 1966. He received Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater Restored Kingdom Church of Christ, Muggle, Alabama.
Preceding him in death, his father, Eddie Reed of Birmingham, Alabama.
He leaves to cherish his loving mother Essie Coleman; father Jerry Coleman; sisters Valerie, Kim, Tina, Sheryl, and Andrea; brothers Ernest and Jessie; 14 children Johnny, April, Elizabeth, Lorenzo, Juanita, Kearia, BriAnna, Victoria, Jamarius, Johnathan, Jessica, Jordan, Joan, and Devonte; 16 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He graduated from C.W. Hayes High School where he was a proud member of the band. He later became the Assistant Band Director of his alma mater where he impacted the lives of many. He was a Jefferson County Sheriff and continued his career in law enforcement as a dispatcher and security guard.
He was a founding member and deacon of Glad Tidings Church Incorporated.
