Joe L. Escott, Jr.

Joe L Escott Jr was born on the 18th of April 1961 to Joe L Escott Sr. and Ellen Escott in Birmingham, AL. Who both  preceded him in death. Mr. Escott was a very spiritual man, he found Christ and was baptized at an early age. He became a member of The 32nd Street Baptist Church.

 Mr. Escott attended and graduated from A.H. Parker High School in 1980. Where he played football and was a member of the R.O.T.C. After graduation Mr. Escott joined the Army, where he spent 4 years serving his country. After his military life Mr. Escott worked various jobs. He fell in love with cooking and  profected the skills of butchery and Culinary Art.

He later married Dorethea F. Watkins from this union three children  were born. He leaves to cherish his memories: his Wife: Dorethea Escott; son: Geremy A. Escott (Ashley Escott); son: Jerrell A. Escott-Collins( Harry J Collins III); daughter: Jasmine Escott; granddaughter: Lyric N. Escott; grandson: Makayah K. Escott; brother: William A.(Jibrael)Escott (Jacklin Escott); A host of Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
