Jessie L. Dawson

Jessie L. Dawson was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on July 21, 1958 to the late Mrs. Ruth L. Dawson and the late Mr. Arthur C. Dawson. To this union six girls and two boys were born. 

He received his education through the Birmingham City School System. After graduating he served in the United States Navy for four years. He was employed as a construction worker for many years and later worked for DMS Moving Company. 

Jessie Dawson transitioned from his natural life into the spirit realm on Saturday, November 7, 2020. 

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son: Jessie Dawson, Jr.; daughter:  Christy Dawson; granddaughter: Kaya-Boo; brother: Arthur Dawson: three sisters: Shirley Wagner, Patricia (Stanley) Thomas, and Lucille Mahan; one aunt: Leona Payne; ex-wife: Benita Dawson; stepchildren: Kimberly and Marques; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
