Jerome Bruce

Jerome Bruce was born August 31,1960 to Ernestine Bruce. He was loved and cherished very much by his mother, grandmother, and family.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior early in life and rededicated his life to Jesus Christ and became a member of Friendship Christian Church Ministries.

Jerome was educated in the Birmingham City Schools and graduated from George Washington Carver High School. He was employed as a manager at Weathertech Distribution where he worked diligently daily. Jerome spent his weekend enjoying his time with his wife, family, friends, and watching Alabama Football.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ernestine Bruce, his maternal grandmother: Mrs. Ellie Powell, a special aunt Elizabeth Redding. He met and married his devoted wife Brenda Bruce in July, 1992. Their union was filled with lots of love, fun, and laughter from their moments together traveling and their many visits from their grandchildren. Jerome enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren with their favorite things, baking them their favorite chocolate chip cookies, video calling them on the phone.

Beautiful memories of Jerome will be cherished by his loving wife Mrs. Brenda Bruce, his children and grandchildren, his two sisters: Gloria Logan (Al), Tammy Smith (Roderick), and his brother Anthony Powell.
