Mrs. Gloria Ann Everson, daughter of the late Selmar and Mary H. Offord was born on March 11, 1945 in Birmingham, Alabama. She departed this life on March 16, 2020. She was a graduate of Parker High School and attended Alabama A & M University to further her education.
Gloria was united in holy matrimony to Walter Boyce Everson, Sr. on December 14, 1964.
She was a capital accountant for all J.I. Case Corporation retail stores in Racine, Wisconsin and was an accountant at Regions Bank in Alabama. Since retiring, she took her crocheting hobby to another level and became an owner of a successful crochet business online. She was the matriarch of her family and was very passionate about her grandchildren. She had a giving heart and was an inspiration to many.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family. Her siblings Marie (James) Oliver, Selmer (Helen) Offord, Richard (Teresa) Offord, Ronald Offord, Cynthia Offord, Yvonne Offord, Eduardo (Margaret) Offord, Greta (Gregory) Benjamin, Boswyck (Stacey) Offord, and Selma (Steven) Swain.
Her son Walter Everson Jr., daughter Yolanda Johnson and special daughter Danita Flanagan, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
