Fannie Marie Tell was born July 15, 1952 to the late Mr. Edward Tell and late Fannie Marie Christian in Birmingham, Alabama. She confessed Christ at an early age and united with Mount
Hebron Baptist Church, Acipco under the leadership of Rev. J.W. Croom, Sr.
She graduated from George Washington Carver High School.
She was affectionately known as “Chubby Chu” by many. She was the joy and life of any party. No one in the world could say, “Listen” like she could.
On Tuesday June 9, 2020, God called her home to rest from her earthly journey.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Bruce Townes; sisters Earlie Jennings, Barbara Tell Lewis, Yolanda D. Newman, and Linda Burrell; brothers-in-law Reginald E.
Hasberry and Hugh R. Lewis.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving daughter Tyeasha Tell; two sons Marlon and Jerome Tell; grandchildren, Jermishia Carter, Cornelius Carter, Marlon Jerome Tell, Kenya
Kennedy, Jorja Mallory, Jaquon Myers; great-grandson, Karyeon Myers; step-mother, Minnie Tell; brothers Frank (Mildred) Walker of Browns, AL and Marvin Shine; sisters, Rosa (Mickey)
