Dorothy Beatrice ("Dot") Foster

Dorothy, fondly known as "Dot", was born December 12, 1958, to Ruth and Calvin Foster. She was the only girl with four brothers Calvin, Eric, Lee (who precedes her in death) and Darius. 

She confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Saint James Methodist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia. 

She attended Whitehall Elementary School. She also attended Cavell High School. Dot was the mother of five children.

Dorothy fought a good fight and the Lord called her home from labor to rest on September 24, 2020. 

She leaves to cherish her many memories, A devoted and loving husband: Timothy Carey; her children: Troy, Dwanna, Omar, Octavius, Aaron; and her three wonderful grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt and friends who will always remember her in their hearts.
