Dorothy Mae Smith Ashley passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Princeton Hospital. Ms. Ashley was affectionately known as "Dot" by family and friends. Left to cherish her memories: a loving son, Cedric Ashley; grandson, TraVon; a devoted sister, Elizabeth S. Howard; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; special loving friends, Barbara Cain and Mr. and Mrs. Llewelyn Haleem; parents and students at Leaps and Bounds Child Development Center; also included are lifelong friends in Atlanta and New York.

To honor her life and the love she shared with so many people, a balloon release for "Dot" will be held at a later date.
