Debra (Whitaker) Barnes

Debra Whitaker-Barnes was born September 3, 1960 in Birmingham, Alabama. She departed this life on May 17, 2020.

She was a member of Greater Mount Carmele Baptist Church. She was united in holy matrimony to Reginald Barnes on March 31, 2009.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Tilda Jones, her husband, Reginald Barnes, her daughter, Tawana R. Whitaker, and two brothers, Alvin and Curtis Whitaker.

She leaves to cherish precious memories in the hearts of her entire family and many loved ones: one sister, one daughter, Tabitha Brown, one son, Moses (Edkendia) Whitaker, three grandchildren, De’Zia, Terrell, and Jordyn, as well as close, loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
