Mr. Davis Bernard Steele was born January 7, 1969, to Queen Williams and Calvin Steele.
Davis was educated in the Bessemer City School System. After graduating high school, Davis began his prestigious career serving in the United States Army from 1988 to 2020. While serving in the Army, Davis trained as a Human Resource Management Specialist.
In 1991, Davis became the proud father of a baby girl, Andria Steele.
In 1992, Davis left active duty in the Army and began working with the United States Postal Service as a mail processor in Birmingham, Alabama.
In 1996, Davis received his Associate’s Degree from Lawson State Community College. In 1998, He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Faulkner University. In 2001, Davis became a part-time Professor at Lawson State and Assistant Track Coach. In 2003, Davis became Acting Postmaster in Hanceville, Alabama. In 2006, Davis was accepted into Law School at Miles College School of Law. In 2012, Davis was promoted by the United States Army to Platoon Sergeant. Full of drive and ambition, Davis completed a second Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted daughter: Andria Steele; two sisters; one brother; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
