Daryl Eugene Cross was born of July 7, 1974, to Chelsie Cross III and Joyce Walton.
He confessed Christ at an early age.
Daryl attended Woodlawn High School. He graduated Virginia College of Birmingham with a degree in culinary arts. He was an accomplished Chef and entrepreneur. Lovingly called “The Hot Dog King” or “Chef D”, he was a free spirit, the life of the party, who never met a stranger and he had a captivating smile.
He leaves as his legacy two children: Jordan Cross and Dahlia Cross.
He departed this life on April 24,2020 at University Hospital (UAB).
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Oscar & Fannie Walton, and Chelsie Cross Sr. & Bobbie Cross and his son Christopher Eugene Cross.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: Two loving parents: Joyce Walton and Chelsie Cross III; a devoted wife and life partner: Dalion Sadler; Two Children: Dahlia Cross and Jordan Cross (mother Tammy Spencer); two brothers: Cornelius Cross (Domonique Sadler Cross) and Tevin Carter; nephew: Cornelius Buchanan; 9 aunts; 7 uncles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. All will miss him dearly
