Daniel Leroy Jackson, Jr. was born on August 6, 1995, in Birmingham, Alabama to Anita LaBon and the late Daniel Leroy Jackson, Sr. He confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early at Peace Baptist Church by Reverend T.L. Brandy.
Daniel better known as “Speedy” to his family and friends was a vibrant little boy at a young age. Once his feet hit the ground he stayed on the go, hence the name Speedy. He received his GED in the year of 2016. Furthermore, he had just started a new employment opportunity that he was very excited about. Daniel “Speedy” had this magnetic energy that spread to everyone that he came across. He was pure joy with laughter that was contagious. He had a big heart, he was exceedingly kind and loved unconditionally. Undoubtedly to his family and friends he was loyal and true. Whether in person or on the phone, his last words would always be, “I Love You”. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Leroy Jackson, Sr., his grandparents on both his father and mothers side.
His leaves to cherish his memory: his mother: Anita LaBon; his siblings: Lana LaBon, Natasha LaBon, Aysha LaBon and De’Angelo LaBon; two nieces, one nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.
