Curtis Lee Hall, Sr. was born November 5, 1932, in Talladega County, to the late Melvin Hall, Sr. and Versie Hall. Also birthed from this union were Melvin Hall, Jr. (deceased), Leavie Hall Jemison (Munford, AL), Willie James Hall (deceased), Clinton Hall (deceased), Sylvester Hall (Talladega, AL), Johnnie Hall (deceased), Mack Hall (deceased), and Rita Orr (deceased).
Mr. Hall also leaves behind a true friend of 50 years, Philip Brewster (Birmingham, AL). He was like a brother to him.
Mr. Hall met the love of his life Leila Mae Thomas Hall and they had Curtis Hall, Jr. (Birmingham, AL), Terry Hall (deceased), Ramona Hall (Birmingham, AL), Cheri Hall (David Brewster both of Grayson, GA), Christopher Hall (Birmingham, AL), and Melvin Hall (Birmingham, AL). She preceded him in death.
Mr. hall started working at the age of 13 and his hardworking skills followed him in life. He worked in several mines and at Steel City Crane Service for a while until he started his own business. It was well known in the Birmingham Community as Curtis Hall and Sons Tire Service for over 30 plus years.
He also leaves in memory seven grandchildren: Tamika Hall (Birmingham, AL), Eugina (Jarred) Starks (Loganville, GA), Tynisha Hall (Atlanta, GA), Daven Hall (Grayson, GA), Ciera Hall (Grayson, GA), Alvin Hall (Birmingham, AL), and Destiny Hall (Chicago, IL). He also had three great-grandchildren: Samiya Hall (Birmingham, AL), Gerren Starks (Loganville, GA), and Kamryn Starks (Loganville, GA). One thing for sure Curtis Hall, Sr. lived a full and blessed life of 87 years. His legacy will continue on in each of his loved ones.
