Cormillia "Joyce" Evans was born to Mr. Clay and Mrs. Della Evans.
She was educated in Jefferson County Schools and was a graduate of the North Jefferson High School class of 1969.
She became a member at an early age of First Baptist Warrior, under the Pastorate of G. W. Baldwin. She later joined Mt. Zion Church, under the Pastorate of Pastor Gary Harville, and was a member until she became disabled and was unable to attend.
She was a resident of the Birmingham Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, and it was here that Joyce renewed her relationship with Jesus Christ.
She will always be loved and remembered by her daughters: Monica D. Evans and Carleen L. Evans; son: Calvin "Tweet" Davis; granddaughter: Gabrielle (Gabby); one sister: Bobbie Bender: nephew: Jason Jenkins; great niece and nephew: Jazmin and Jordyn. Also left to cherish her memory are honored friend: Shirley Jackson; and several cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Clay Evans, her grandmother Louise Johnson, and her brother David Johnson.
