Cleveland B. Austin

Mr. Cleveland “Pop” Austin was born to Rufus Austin and Lillian Wright on January 18, 1928, in Marion, Alabama.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Powderly, Alabama, until his passing.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife: Rhonda Austin; two sons: Jessie Austin, Clanton, Alabama, and Mathieu Austin, Birmingham, Alabama; three grandchildren: Masio Austin, Sheandria Austin, Birmingham, Alabama, and Jessica Sims, Phoenix, Alabama; two brothers-in-law: Darryl and Edward McCray, Birmingham, Alabama; sister-in-law: Evelyn (Harry) Thomas, Prattville, Alabama; mother-in-law: Evelyn Lockett, Birmingham, Alabama; three step-daughters: Nakia (William) White, NaKeisha and Natoyia McCray, Birmingham, Alabama; four step-grandchildren: Jadian (Big Man) Collins, Jeremiah Smith, Demterius Collins and DeCarrious Collins, Birmingham, Alabama; a host of other relatives and friends.
