Barbara Nichols Obituary

Barbara Ruth Nichols, known to most of her family as "Beebo", was born on July 9, 1966, in Birmingham, AL. She was one of three children born to the late Ms. Jennie Mae Davison Nichols, and the Late Mr. James Nichols, Jr. Despite being born almost 3 months early, and weighing less than 3 lbs., Beebo was born a fighter.

Because of her prematurity, and being hydrocephalic, she was never supposed to live past 16, or walk, or talk, but she did that and more! Barbara gave birth to a son, who preceded her in death, the late Christopher A. Nichols, whom she loved dearly. She took the best care and was the best babysitter for her nieces and nephews. She was loved by them all.

On June 9, 2020, after many years of fighting the good fight, Barbara left this earthly realm to live forever in paradise with our Father God.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory and older sister: Wynetta (Antonio, Sr.) Moutry; a brother: James (Paula) Nichols, III.; younger sister Simone Nichols; she also leaves behind four nephews: James M. Nichols, Ladarius (LaShonda) Nichols, Antonio (Jasmine) Moutry, Jr., and Aaron (Alexis) Moutry; three nieces: Takela Nichols, LaTonjDria Kirksey, and Joia (Nicholas) Saunders; seven great-nephews, four great-nieces, uncles, aunts, and a host of cousins and beloved friends.
