Arlene Powell

Arlene Powell was born on May 16, 1953. She was the fifth of ten children born from the union of Joseph Powell II and Evelyn Hunter Powell in Trussville, Alabama.
 
Arlene started her faithful walk with Christ at a young age. She was educated at R. R. Moton High School in Leeds, AL. Her career included employment with Fiber South, Stockham Pipe & Fittings Company and Barber’s Dairy.
 
On June 5, 2018 Arlene made her heavenly transition from earth. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings: Donnie Powell, Joseph Powell III, Carolyn Brown, Donald Powell and Isaiah Powell.
 
She is survived by two devoted sons Gantry W. Powell and Senneca Powell, six grandchildren, Brittany (Justin) Agee, Demetric Gwin, Gantry S. Powell, Maleyah Powell, Cason Massey and Nadia McDade, one great grandchild, Isaiah Gwin, two sisters: Margaret (Victor) Lee and Sherrolyn Osborne, two brothers: Roger Powell and Ronnie Powell, one sister-in-law Mary Powell and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
