On Saturday, January 18, 2020 Angel Delores Moten-Campbell 71, of Birmingham, AL was called home by her Heavenly Father. She was born October 28, 1948 in Birmingham, AL to Ida Moore and Brown Heard. Angel was raised in Waukegan, IL and returned to Birmingham, AL where she united with the First Baptist Church of Ensley under the leadership of the late Pastor Thomas E. Gilmore. Angel enjoyed collecting, dancing and listening to music. Her passion was watching old western movies and spending time with family and friends. She also found pleasure in caring for the sick and dedicated many years working in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her charismatic and lively personality will truly be missed.
Angel leaves to cherish her memories: her husband: Robert Campbell; two children: Tanya Craig of Chicago, IL and Rosland Moten of Birmingham, AL; three brothers: Thomas (Latrese) Craig Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; Alfred Craig and Michael Craig both of Waukegan, IL; two sisters: Patricia Fain of Waukegan, IL ; and Cheryl Craig- O’Bryant of Gurnee, IL; five grandchildren: Andre (Venus) Bartley, Nashima Craig, Trevionne Craig, Moses Craig and Tia Pruitt; eight great grandchildren; one sister-in-love: Patricia Craig; and a host of relatives and friends.
Angel was preceded in death by her parents: Ida Moore, Brown Heard and Tom Craig; one sister: Cynthia Nicks; two brothers: Broderick Craig and David Heard.
