Andrea Denise Petty

We celebrate the homegoing of one of God's children, Andrea Denise Petty, whom everyone lovingly called Niecy. Niecy was born on April 24, 1978, to Iris Petty and Andre Williams. She was raised in a loving home with her mother and father Barry and Iris Thigpen, Sr.

Niecy was a faithful member of Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Niecy is a 1996 graduate of Woodlawn High School. She also attended Alabama A & M University. Niecy will always be remembered for her love of sports, food and acknowledging birthdays and anniversaries of those closest to her. 

Niecy is survived by her parents: Iris and Barry Thigpen, Sr. of Birmingham, Alabama and Andre and Cherry Williams of Killeen, Texas; three sisters: Cynthia (Sam) Ikner, Brandi Williams, and Chenique Walker; brothers: Barry (LaToya) Thigpen, Jr. and Patrick Thigpen; her grandmother: Emma Thigpen; one niece: Paris Thigpen; four nephews: Camden Thigpen, Carter Thigpen, Kallece Williams, and Caumari Walker; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
