She graduated from Oneonta High School in 1997, furthering her education by attending Gadsden Job Corps where she later received her CNA certification. Amy was a dedicated healthcare worker that loved taking care of people. Her humble spirit was displayed throughout her career, and she received many accolades during her 15-year tenure as a CNA. She touched many hearts while caring for the patients at Golden Living (Diversicare Nursing Center) and Riverview Hospital. Amy’s co-workers and patients admired her compassion and dependability, and she brought joy to every person she encountered.
At an early age, she confessed Christ and was baptized while a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. James W. Garner, Jr. Amy was surrounded by a loving, close-knit family and enjoyed many family gatherings to celebrate birthdays, special occasions, and holidays.

Amy was blessed with the birth of her son, JaNathean, whom she loved and adored. She dedicated her life to loving and caring for him and they were truly best friends. She was affectionately known by her nieces and nephews as the best “TeeTee” in the world and spent most of her free time with her family and friends.

Amy is preceded in death by her sweet baby girl, A’Nyiah Grace.
