Willie Henry Coleman

Willie Henry Coleman, affectionately known as "Doug" was born November 26, 1942, in Birmingham, AL, to the late Ed and Pinkie Coleman. 

He confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Willie attended Western Olin High School, Daniel Payne College and later moved to Detroit Michigan to work for GMC motors. He later moved back to Birmingham, AL. 

He departed this life on Sunday, November 17, 2019, in peace with his master. His memories will forever live in the heart of those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Ed and Pinkie Coleman; two brothers, Joe Charles Coleman, Eddie (Alice) Coleman and one sister Sallie Smiley. 

Forever cherishing his memories are; one daughter, Carmen Sole; three sisters, Lottie Moultry, Claudia  Jackson, Lela Ann Coleman, Ruby (James) Gulley, one brother Malcom Lee (Vera) Coleman.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
