Wilbert L. Johnson

Mr. Wilbert Johnson was born October 19, 1954, in Birmingham,  Alabama, to the late Wilbert and Rosie Lee Johnson.

He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Christian Valley Baptist Church under the Pastorage of the late Reverend A. L. Lawson.

He was educated in the Birmingham School System. Wilbert Johnson was known throughout Birmingham for his love of people, especially family.

He departed this life to live with the Lord on February 1, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Samaritan Collins, brother: Ivory Joe and brother-in-law: Charles Dudley.

He is survived by his daughters: Quiana Scott of Birmingham, AL, and Shavonne Speed of Huntsville, AL; sisters: Janice Dudley and Rhonda Stallworth (Willie Stallworth), both of Birmingham, AL; brothers: Edward Johnson of Saginaw, MI, Cedric Johnson and Kevin Wiley both of Birmingham, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
