Viola (Henry) Harris

Mrs. Viola Henry Harris was born on November 19, 1938, to Mr. Ed Williams and Ms. Leola Carson in Martin Station, Alabama.

Viola was educated in Dallas County School System and graduated from Keith High School. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Richard L. Harris in 1955.

Viola was a faithful member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church all of her adult life for over 60 years. She retired from the Birmingham School System as a Child Nutrition after 24 years of service at Barrett Elementary School and Huffman High School.She was kind to everyone and would help anyone she could.

Mrs. Harris passed from this life to life everlasting on March 11, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her sons: Donald and Bruce Harris, three brothers: Harry J. Henry, Herman Henry and Andrew Henry and one granddaughter, Randalla Harris. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving sons: Richard (Bernett), Randall and Terry (Linda) Harris, one sister, Mrs. Leila (Earnest) Jackson, thirteen grandchildren: Sandria (German) Alicea, Sabrina Davis, Donald  Davis, Richard R. Harris, Nicole Davis, Kimberly Harris, Terry Harris, Jr., Rodriquez Johnson, Leneal Johnson, Amber Harris, Tevin Harris, Donald Young and Samuel Harris, nine great grandchildren: Jehudijah Davis, Sadarryes Phillips, Ashley Davis, Darryest Phillips, Tradarryea Phillips, Nydarryea Phillips, Deauriea Davis, Danequa Parker, Trakim Davis and a host of relatives and friends.
