Veronica Gail Hardy

Ms. Veronica Gail Hardy was born and raised in Leeds, Alabama, on May 21, 1965, to the late Norma Jean Hardy and Thomas Elijah Hardy, Jr. at Leeds Hospital.

Ms. Hardy gained her wings on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at Grandview Medical Hospital in the comfort of her children, family and friends. She was a great cook for 22 years and she loved it. She never met a stranger and she would give you the shirt off her back, along with her heart if she could. She was the joy of her family and always kept them going and laughing. And, she loved all the kids no matter who they were.

Ms. Hardy was preceded in death by her mother Norma Jean Hardy, father Thomas Elijah Hardy, Jr. and very special friend Timothy Wayne Rose (clown).

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter: Sophia Latriece Hardy (Lil White Lady) and one son: Reco Pierra Hardy (Bubba), both of Leeds, Alabama; one grandson: Jewlian Dupree Pharrell Hardy of Leeds, Alabama; three sisters: Angela (Dewayne) Hardy of Odenville, Alabama, Leslie (Fred) Hardy of Leeds, Alabama, and Deshauta (Kenneth, Jr.) Carroll of Birmingham, Alabama; two brothers: Thomas Elijah Hardy, III, of Leeds, Alabama, and Justin Rasheem (Jackie) Hardy of Acmar, Alabama; nieces and nephews: Gavin (Latasha) Hardy of Leeds, Alabama, Bianca Hardy of Odenville, Alabama, Monique Hardy of Leeds, Alabama, Chandranique Jones, Makayla Hardy, Kenmia Boware and Sanyla Boware, all of Birmingham, Alabama; great niece and nephews: Braxton Ragland, Jamarcus Hardy, and A'Nyriah Hardy, all of Leeds, Alabama; two special, loving and devoted friends: Margaret Abercrombie and Shemeco Johnson, both of Leeds, Alabama; and a host of other family and friends.
