Mother Sarah M. Sampson was born on May 16, 1921, to the late Monroe Davis and Jessie Sellers. She transitioned from life on November 15, 2018, for an eternal life in glory. She grew up in Monroe, Alabama.
She was united in marriage to William Bryant; three daughters and four sons were born.
She confessed Christ and joined Eleventh Avenue Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of the late Superintendent James H. Henderson and currently under the leadership of Superintendent Walter J. Henderson. There she served faithfully.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Lucille, Cora and Alise and one stepbrother: Roy.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories sons: Jimmy (Rose), William, Donald (Chris), and Willie (Joy); daughters: Shelia, Myra, and Patricia; grandchildren: Allen, Joseph, Precious, Marvin (Elaine), Jonathan (Kristal), Larice (Deceased), Kevin, Corey, Kursten, Sherita, Tha-Hash (Michelle), Jessica, Ashley, Jarius, Clayton, Sabnina, Shatasha, Kejaune (Maia), Kenny (deceased), Willie, Jr., Little Willie, Larrius; great-grandchildren: Sieeda, Kingston, Kamillia, Melik, Jelik, Alicia, Josephine, Madison, Jaliyah, Jakaiya, Jalen, Christian, Zion, Tha-Hash, II, Jeremiah, De’Andre, Ryligh, Hendrix, Kevin Teany, Jacaris, Roman, Zahavee, Dyniah, Artez, Jayden; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren not mentioned; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Thank God for Bernice and Wendy. Thanks to the Dr. Robins and staff of Kindred Hospice. To all her caregivers, nurses Kim, Brenda, Pam, Hattie, Diane, Christie, Joan, Janet, Gloria, Jackie, Jeanane (Social Worker), John Churchhill (Chaplain) and to everyone not mentioned.
