Sandra Sumlin Parker was born December 31, 1956, to Charles Sumlin and Eva Lou Grider Sumlin. She was their baby girl.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and her faith never wavered.
In her sick days, she recited scripture and thanked God for the opportunity to praise him. She valued everyday and lived it as though it was her last.
She was educated in the Birmingham School System and graduated from Woodlawn High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Charles and Mrs. Eva Lou Sumlin, a husband Donald Parker, her brothers Brown Lee, Samuel Leon, Hurbert and Charles, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories her one and only son: Darrell Sumlin; one grandson: Darrin Sumlin; stepchildren: Rodriguez Craig and Eric Craig; her loving and supportive sister: Mae Sumlin Irvin (Frank); sister: Yvonne Sumlin; two brothers: Bernard Sumlin and Darrell Sumlin; a supportive friend: Tammala Armstrong; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
