Robert Colvin Obituary

Mr. Robert Lee Colvin was born October 29, 1958, in Birmingham, Alabama, to his loving and devoted parents, the late  Mr. Marvin Colvin and Mrs. Julia Louise Colvin. He transitioned this earthly life to his Everlasting Paradise to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Robert attended Birmingham City Schools. He work for several years at Pepsi Cola Bottling Company, until his health declined.

Robert had many hobbies and talents. But, his favorite was playing the Guitar. That was a self-taught talent of his. He could pick it, play it, and make it talk back. Robert was the lead Guitarist in several bands over the years, and the lead Guitarist at his church.

Robert was preceded in death by his loving and devoted parents, Marvin Colvin and Julia Louise Colvin, his two brothers, Dexter Lynn Colvin and Dennis James Colvin.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories: His beloved Sons and Daughters; his brother: Alonzo Colvin (Vivian) Roseville, Michigan; Aunt Mary Elizabeth Craig of Birmingham, Alabama, Aunt Ada Mae Smith of Detroit, Michigan, Uncle Robert Craig of Detroit, Michigan; A special friend: Denise Pickens of Birmingham, Alabama; and a host of other relatives and friends.
