Paul Edward Sanders, Sr., was born September 8, 1949, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Mr. Marvin and Mrs. Lucille Lanier Sanders. He confessed Christ at an early age.
He retired from Jefferson County Sanitation Department.
On Tuesday January 1, 2019, at 4:44 P. M., Paul went home to be with the Lord.
He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, a loving and devoted partner: Vanessa Watkins; three sons: Stacy Jones, Derek Sanders and Paul Sanders, Jr.; two daughters: Sheneria Sanders and Crystal Gary; twelve grandchildren; a special granddaughter: Marquetta Sanders. He also leaves to mourn, a loving brother: Marvin (Jackie) Sanders from Birmingham, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
