Mildred (Hill) Higgs

Ms. Mildred Hill Higgs was born October 29, 1934, in West Blocton, Alabama, to the late Shady and Girsie Tubbs Hill.

Ms. Mildred resided in West Blocton until she completed high school. Mildred then moved to New Jersey. She married and lived in New Jersey for many years. While there, she worked in the Health Care Industry. After the death of her husband, she moved back to West Blocton. Upon returning, she assisted in caring for her mother. She remained in West Blocton until her health began to decline.

Ms. Mildred Hill Higgs answered the Lord's call on Monday, April 1, 2019. She was respected, admired and loved by her family, friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Shady Hill and Girsie Hill of West Blocton, Alabama, and her husband.

She leaves to cherish her memories a niece: Johnnies M. Hill of Bessemer, Alabama, other relatives and friends.
