Mr. Michael Armstrong was born in Birmingham, Alabama, to his earthly parents William Carrington, Sr. and the late Betty Armstrong Carrington on December 27, 1964. They truly loved him. He had a sister, Lisa and two brothers, William "Junior" and Edward "Tender". The love and bond he shared with his parents and siblings was precious. They always shared countless laughs and had funny family stories to share with the rest of their growing family.
Michael spent his final days in the company of his beloved lady friend Jamie, sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Calvin and his caregivers.
Michael attended Carol W. Hayes High School. Since he was a child, he had a love for superheroes and cartoons. Even as an adult, he would indulge in them and lived for Saturday mornings to eat a hearty breakfast while enjoying his favorite shows. Michael lived up to the meaning of his name "Protector" and took on the role of being a real-life superhero himself. He was always ready to defend his siblings and the neighborhood kids knew not to bully them. Michael also had a special love for dogs. He was always seen wearing a smile and had quite and infectious laugh. When you heard him laugh, you usually did too.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother Betty Carrington; sisters Deborah Ann Carrington and Latonia Whetstone.
