Malik Rashad Stewart

Malik Rashad Stewart, age 21, of Birmingham, Alabama, peacefully passed away surrounded by his immediate family on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from a sudden illness at Children's Hospital. Malik was a native of Birmingham, Alabama, where he previously attended Huffman High School and he learned sign language from Rocky Ridge Elementary School in Hoover, Alabama. 

His twin sister, Mya Ann Stewart, also of Birmingham, Alabama, preceded him in death. Malik will be forever loved and remembered by a very devoted and caring mother, Stephanie Underwood-Little, who never left his side during the 30 days he was hospitalized in Children's Hospital. Malik also leaves a stepfather: Timothy Little, Sr.,: two sisters: Keanu Underwood and Jasmine Stewart; a step-sister: Ashili Little; a step-brother: Timothy Little, Jr.; a grandfather: Willie Underwood; a devoted grandmother: Martha Ann Underwood: an uncle: Thomas Wright (Natalie), all of Birmingham, Alabama, and one aunt: Cynthia Wright of Gainesville, Florida. He also leaves three nieces, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends.
