Kathleen was the eldest of four daughters born to Mr. Fred Agee and Ms. Fannie Lightsey Goldsmith in Fairfield, Al. The family later moved to Birmingham where Kathleen received her formal education through the Birmingham Public School System.
She accepted Christ as her Savior with Lively Hope Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a faithful member until declining health prevented her attendance.

Kathleen was married to Ocie Lewis Clark and this union produced five children. A son, Christopher, preceded her in death. She was employed by UNITOG Laundry (CINTAS) where she served dutifully for more than thirty years. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, being part of the church's decorating committee, and using her "green thumb" to nurture and grow plants.

"Phi", as she was affectionately called by her family, was known for her quick wit and brash frankness, but it was her sage advice and delectable desserts that others sought. The mouth-watering cakes and pies she so gingerly baked were repeated requests of family, friends, and church members. Her sense of style and her taste for "haute couture" was no secret for she could walk the red carpet with the best of them.

Cherishing fond memories are: daughters, Cathy (Charles) Weaver and Jacqueline (Sherwin) Bivens; sons, Ocie (Danielle) Clark and Kenneth Clark, all of Birmingham; sisters, Margaret Kinslow, Chicago, Cynthia Shackleford, Birmingham, and Deborah Washington, Conyers, GA; daughter-in-law, Deborah Clark, Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Lelia Snelson, Johnny (Tanekia) Lockett, Stephanie Clark, Kayla Clark, Ashtin (Danette) Bivens, Amber Bivens, all of Birmingham, Temeka (Reed) Bell, Sumter, SC, Kenneth Clark, Jr., Topeka, KS, Marnix (Lisa) Fagin,  Cincinnati, OH, and Charles Weaver, III, Nashville, TN; great grandchildren, Amberia Tutt, Jacobi Stallworth, and Madison Collins, all of Birmingham, and a great, great grandchild, Dereon Harrison, Birmingham.; with a host of relatives and friends who will remember Kathleen's warmth  and laughter.
