Mr. Johnny “Bubba” Whitaker, Jr. was born December 13, 1944, the second of eight children born to Mr. Johnny Whitaker, Sr. and Mrs. Fannie Mae Tate Whitaker.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and was educated in the Birmingham City School System.
Bubba chose a career in food and worked at various restaurants.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to mourn Johnny’s memories his one and only daughter: Valerie DuBose Baragan of Grand Rapids, MI, sisters: Linda Whitaker Barnes, Fannie Whitaker and Audrey Whitaker Burch; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
