Mr. John Wesley Jiles, born January 17, 1953, to the late Benjamin Jiles, Sr. and Lula Mae Jiles.
He attended Jefferson County Schools and was employed at Jefferson County Laundry in Ketona. He was a "grave escavator" in New Castle Garden Cemetery until his health failed.
He was preceded in death by both parents, one brother O. B. Jiles, one sister Lula Pearl Stringer-Matthews.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter: Janeka (Jessie) Johnson-Robertson; six grandchildren: Kortne Johnson-Gosha, Miami, Florida, Jimeka Edmonds, Erin Smith, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jace Smith, Jada Smith, Judge Robertson, Zachary, Louisiana; two great-granchildren: Malia Edmonds, Zachary, Louisiana, and Evan Pugh, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; one sister: Daisy Jiles Bryand; one brother: Benjamin (Linda) Jiles, Jr. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
