James Pryor, Jr.

On April 5, 1931, James Pryor, Jr. was born to the late James Pryor, Sr. and Annie Pryor. He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age at First Baptist Church Fairfield, AL and later joined Bethel A.M.E. Zion Church and remained a member until his death. James was united in Holy Matrimony with the late Mamie L. Moore Pryor. The union was blessed with four children: Deborah, Daphne, Diane (deceased), and James III. Preceding him in death are his wife Mamie of 65 years; daughter Diane, parents James Pryor, Sr, and Annie Pryor, and sister Juanita Lampkin.

On November 19, 2018, James was called to eternal rest.

His memories will live forever in the hearts of his daughters, Deborah (Ronald) Starks of Bessemer, AL; Daphne (Edward) Williams of Birmingham, AL; son James III (Carole) of Birmingham, AL, Grandchildren, Danisha (Kelvin) of Cartersville, GA, LaTonya (Cedric) Clemon of Birmingham, AL, Adria D. Jackson of Woodstock, GA, Tamika C. Williams of Trussville, AL, Hunter O’Neal (Carmenlina) Jackson of Birmingham, AL, DeMarcus J. Pryor of Birmingham, AL, Kimberly Hutchins of Birmingham, AL, Keona Hutchins, of Talladega, AL, and Kanesha Hutchins of Birmingham, AL. Thirteen Great grands, Sydnei, India, Cedarian, Kai, Cobi, Destiny, Kenneth Jr., Jordan, Skylar, Kyrie, Keshun, Quinterius, and Quadarius. He leaves to cherish his memories a special brother-in-law, nephew, niece, cousins, and friends.
