There is a time for everything and a season for everything activity under Heaven. Ms. Jacqueline Moore Banks was born April 29, 1952, to the late Young Moore, Sr. and Gertrude Moore in Birmingham, Alabama.
Ms. Jacqueline Moore Banks, was educated in Birmingham City Schools and graduated from George Washington Carver High School. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was employed by U.A.B. where she worked as a secretary in their Psychology Department for 20 years. Jackie was the oldest of 10 children. She enjoyed fishing, singing, cooking and having family gatherings. She truly enjoyed being around her grandkids and living life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Young Moore, Sr., two brothers Mr. Fernando Moore and Mr. Eric Moore. She is the mother of three children and one stepdaughter, a grandmother of eleven and great-grandmother of five.
On Wednesday night, August 21, 2019, at 8:30 PM, God called her home to eternal life. She will sincerely be missed by all that knew and loved her. They will find comfort in knowing that “to be absent from the body , is to be present with the Lord.”
She leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted daughter: Ms. Harriet Banks, Ms. Tammi Banks Dunson; two sons: Mr. Roderick Oliver (Aundrea) and Mr. John Oliver, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister: Barbara Evans (Sam); seven brothers: Mr. Juarez Moore, Mr. Derric Moore, Mr. Calvin Moore, Mr. Brombell Moore, Mr. Reginald Moore, Mr. Young Moore, Jr. and Mr. Ronald Moore; a devoted son-in-law: Marcus Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and church family.
