Mrs. Gloria Evans Wilson was born August 8, 1943, to Mr. Adolphus Evans and Mrs. Lena Lynum Evans. She accepted Christ at an early age and never wavered in her faith.
Gloria was educated in Clarke County and graduated from Wilson Hall High School in 1962. After graduation, she moved to Birmingham where she met Curtis Wilson and they were united in holy matrimony. Curtis and Gloria lived a wonderful life filled with love, laughter and fishing. Gloria and Curtis were members at Greater New Antioch Baptist Church and served faithfully. Curtis was a Trustee and Gloria served on the kitchen committee.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Wilson; parents: Adolphus Evans and Lena Lyum Evans; brothers: Melvin and John Evans; sister-in-law: Bonita Moore Evans.
She leaves to cherish her memories a sister-in-law: Ethel Hollins Evans; nieces: Dorothy Reynolds, Cynthia Jordon, Cathy (Royce) Fleming, Shatara (Terry) Johnson, and Genesis Pate; nephews: Cedric Evans, BJ Wilson, Lee Wilson and Dwight Wilson; five great-nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
