Genesis Anna Thomas  was born to Mr. Donald and the late Mrs.   Reda Thomas on October 21, 1992.

Genesis was a proud graduate of Sylacauga High School. Genesis accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age. She notably served faithfully as a member of the Outreach Church of God in Christ, Tuskegee, Alabama, on the Usher Board, in the Choir, and President of “Sisters in Action Women’s Ministry”. Shortly after   returning to her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, Genesis joined the Olivet Monumental Baptist Church. Genesis went home to be with God on December 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Mrs. Reda Sutton Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  her loving father Mr. Donald Glenn Thomas, and host relatives, custodians, and friends.
