Mr. Frederick E. Griffin was born March 30, 1958, to Mr. Fred Griffin and Mrs. Mavis Johnson Griffin.
He completed his early education in the public school system and attended Troy University. He joined the United States Army and served several years and received an Honorable Discharge. He ended his career days working as a Maintenance Technician at Brookwood Hospital.
He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a member of Greater Old Salem Baptist Church at a young age, working in the church until he joined the military.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Mr. Fred and Mrs. Mavis Griffin and brother Darius Griffin.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife: Rosalie Griffin; daughters: April Lofton-George, Adrianna Griffin; son-in-law: Brian Lofton-George; grandchildren: Deshawn Sowells, Alondra Calhoun, Brian Lofton-George, Jr .He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family of the late Mr. Frederick Griffin would like to express our sincere gratitude for the calls, visits, prayers and other acts of kindness during the extended illness and passing of our loved one. May God continue to bless each of you.
