Eric Herren

Eric Herren was born on August 16, 1970 in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of Willie James Green and Mattie R Herren.

He attended Hudson Elementary and obtained his Plumbing license from Job Corp in 1989.

Eric was currently enjoying the pleasures of working as a Construction Event Planner with Party Time.

A man of many talents, Eric was blessed with the “Gift of Gab”.  If he talked long enough and put those eyes and that smile on you, he was sure to have his way. That “Gift of Gab” led him to many triumphs. He was the luckiest man you have ever known and he enjoyed life. Eric always managed to be the one who won the bet, got the job, or eluded a traffic ticket. He was full of  joyful laughter, smiles and jokes. Eric lived life to the fullest. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age and joined 46th Street Baptist Church East Birmingham Alabama. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Eric was the father of two boys, Demetrius Smith 27, Aundre Smith 23, and three girls, Erica Nikita Herren 20, Ania Janae Herren, and Jania LaShae Herren 17., He was the youngest son of 10 brothers and sisters; Johnny, Roderick, Darryl, Aubrey(1968-2015), Ruth, and Ayonna Herren, Charles and Jackie Miller, Jimmy and Pamela Wells, Maggie Wilson, and Odessa Lowe, all of Birmingham, Alabama. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He never met a stranger. His laughter was contagious and he lit up every room in which he entered.  May we be inspired by his love for laughter and joyous moments.
