Ella Mae (Hamilton) Mason

Mrs. Ella Mae Mason was born September 30, 1948, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Eugene Hamilton and Mrs. Vanara Ann Hamilton.

She was married to the late Mr. Lewis Mason.

She leaves behind her siblings: Barbara Jean, Carolyn, Diane, Vanara, Ruby, Bobbie Jean, Odis, Eugene, and Eric; children: Pamela, Belinda, Dennis, Kevin and her baby boy that preceded her in death Derrick; grandchildren: Keyona, Shonta, Sherrita, Aylisa, Dennis, Decarius, DeShun, Deonnah, Ja’Cheria, Ja’Dedria, Derrick, Jr., and Amber; great-grandchildren: Destiny, Takerriyona, DaJaydan, DaJordan, and Martez; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ella Mae was full of life, laughter and music. She loved listening to her music. If you tried to touch her radio, you’d better get ready for her to cuss you out. She was a fun person to be around. She was a loving and caring mother. She loved each and every one of her family members. If you needed her, she did all she could to be a helping hand. It’s sad to say, but she will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew her. To all of the family and friends, remember Ella at her best times and love always.
