Dorothy Lee (Embry) Oden

Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Lee Embry Oden, youngest daughter of the late Joe Martin and Ms. Ethal Lee Embry, was born January 5, 1944, in Pell City, Alabama.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Ms. Ethal L. Embry, father Mr. Joe Martin, her only child Quinton Embry, two sisters Katie J. Oden and Lourine Smith, four brothers Gordon, Mack, Alfred Martin, and Lee Patrick Embry.

Dot confessed Christ at an early age. She attended St. Clair Training School.

Dot moved from Alabama to Panama, Florida, and stayed there for many years before returning back to Alabama. She passed to her reward on Monday, April 29, 2019, at her home. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: one sister: Blossie Smith of Pell City, Alabama; two brothers: Huey (Bonnie) Embry and Benjamin Embry, both of Columbia, Pennsylvania; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends; one special nephew: Elic Smith who she has always loved as her child and he was also her caretaker. Dot will be missed by many for her humorous personality of making people laugh.
