Doris (Gaskin) Johnson

Elder Doris Johnson was born January 20, 1936, in Alabama, to the late Essie Mae Smith. She departed this life September 1, 2019, at the age of 83, at Crestwood Medical Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama. 

She accepted the Lord at an early age and became one of the ministers of Cathedral of Faith Worship Center, under the leadership of Bishop Grant.

Elder Johnson was preceded in death by two sons: Charles Johnson and Joseph Jones and husband: Charlie Johnson. 

Her loving memory will be cherished by her children: Rosie Johnson, David Jones (Tammie), Jerome Jones, Dorothy Richardson and Jonathan Jones; one sister: Mildred Kelly; three brothers: Benjamin Hardy, Felton (Gwen) Hardy and Dr. Clinton Smith; twenty grandchildren; fourteen great-grands; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
